Police: Man stabbed at Scarlet Tree in Roosevelt

A 28-year-old man was stabbed at the Scarlet Tree in Roosevelt around 1:15 a.m. Thursday, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Witnesses told police the attacker had been coming and going from the bar all night. Shortly before the stabbing, he came in through the back door and had a verbal argument with the DJ, according to police.
Staff told police the attacker then tried to get another drink but was denied service because he was visibly drunk.
When the doorman tried to remove the man from the Scarlet Tree, the man started throwing punches and pushing customers, according to police. When the doorman and the man reached the back door, the man yelled for his friends to come help him, according to police.
While the doorman was busy keeping the man’s friends from entering the bar, the man took out a knife and started swinging it around, slicing the victim, who apparently had nothing to do with what was going on, according to police.
