Police: Drunk man thinks he’s in Canada with Queen, goes berserk in Queen Anne

A man who was so drunk he thought he was in Canada with the Queen attacked his friends for approximately 20 minutes early Sunday in Queen Anne, according to the Seattle Police Department.
After getting a call at 1:30 a.m. March 18 about two men fighting in a residence in the 600 block of West Emerson Street, officers arrived to find a man lying on the floor in the fetal position, sobbing, screaming and talking incoherently, according to the police report for the incident.
A woman told officers she and her male roommate are good friends with the man. The roommate, whose face was bruised, swollen and scratched, told police they were having a party that night, and their friend was very drunk by 7 p.m.
According to the male roommate, their friend’s wife came up in conversation, setting him off. The friend started punching the male roommate in the face and wrestled him to the ground.
