A pub crawl to fight Alzheimer’s? I’ll drink to that

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, the disease is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. More than 100,000 Washingtonians are living with Alzheimer’s, and that number is expected to triple by 2050.
If those sobering facts make you feel like you need a drink, good news. Ales for Alzheimer’s returns this weekend to get you drunk while you support the fight against Alzheimer’s.
The first anti-Alzheimer’s pub crawl took place in Queen Anne in March, drawing more than 400 people. On Oct. 8, Ales for Alzheimer’s hits Fremont and 10 of its quality establishments.
For $40, participants will receive an 8-ounce beer at every bar, a T-shirt and admission to the after party. All proceeds go directly toward the Alzheimer’s Association.
You can register for Ales for Alzheimer’s online, but you only have until midnight tomorrow. The event takes place between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. and the following bars:White Rabbit9 MillionThe Red DoorBallroomHigh View full post on “drunk” News
